The Garmin Epix is a new full-feature and very compact GPS in the form of a wristwatch with GLONASS capabilty. It weighs just 3 ounces and runs up to 24 hours on a single litium-ion battery.

The screen is 1.4", 205 x 148 pixels, daylight readable and touch-operated. The display is customizable with watch faces, widgets and data fields. It comes preloaded with a detailed worldwide basemap, and is compatible with Birdseye Satellite Imagery and 24K topographical maps.

The Epix has 8 gigabytes of RAM to store your tracks and map files. It interfaces with Smartphones using the GarminConnect App to provide text and email alerts, and connect with GarminConnect, the activity tracking website.
